Road to close in Wisner

As of November 3, 18th Street on the west end of Wisner was scheduled to close to thru traffic, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
Werner Construction Co., of Hastings, is the contractor for this project. Work will include removing and re-constructing the 18th Street intersection along with tying in the new lanes of U.S. Highway 275 US-275) to the existing pavement.
Access to local businesses will be maintained at all times. Anticipated completion for this work is November 30. Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and put phones down.
