Wisner FFA places at dairy judging

The District III Dairy Judging contest was held September 23 at the Wayne County Fairgrounds.

Around 400 students from 17 area schools competed in the contest which included placing six classes of cattle and a dairy knowledge test. Wisner-Pilger senior Jacey Dimon was the individual champion in the Sr. Division, and Henry Jacobs was the 3rd individual champion in the Jr. Division.

The Sr. division team of Jacey Dimon, Ella Jacobs, Jentrye Frederickson and Avery Schultz were the team champions. The Wisner-Pilger Jr. Division team of Henry Jacobs, Ali Alexander, Hayleigh Szymanski and Osvaldo Garcia were district runners-up.

On October 7, Wisner-Pilger FFA students were scheduled to attend an area land judging contest.
