Leigh set the tone with a one-sided first half of football en route to a 70-18 win over host Bancroft-Rosalie on September 18.

Leigh put up 62 points in the first two quarters to secure the win.

“We continue to struggle with consistency. Even without their best lineman, Leigh dominated the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball,” B-R head coach Kyle Elsasser said.

Elsasser noted that turnovers didn’t help.

“We need to continue to work on doing the little things better and take steps to improve each week,” Elsasser added.

Panther touchdowns came from Owen Stromberg, Brecken Sedivy and JoLeon Moniz.

With the loss, B-R slips to 1-3 this season. Up next, the Panthers will host Laurel-Concord-Coleridge (3-1) today (September 25.).
